After this weekend's football the title picture was meant to be alot clearer with either Man U or Arsenal becoming favourites but it only made it a far more confusing one. With Man U seeing the game as two points dropped and Arsenal gaining a last gasp point, the title race is heating up. With Arsenal and Man u both dropping points, it has allowed Chelsea to catch up. Since losing Jose Mourinho Chelsea have gone about their buisness picking up points with assured displays and a recent demolision of Man City, who are the only team this season to beat Man U.

Another Manger has fallen, this honour has gone to Chris Hutchings. The former assisant manager was thrusted into the hot seat after Paul Jewell decided to resign. This sacking has not really come as a surprise, due to a run of six succesive defeats.

Newcastle were subject to a heavy defeat at the hands of Pompey. Even with Newcastle at home they were easily beaten. Thier Manager Big Sam Allardyce who worked wonders at Bolton must be wondering whats he doing wrong. The squad he inherited is full of international stars, who dont seem to be consistent when playing for the toon.

On the otherhand Pompey have been playing fantastically well, scoring at will with Benjani in the form of his life. The team has a mixture of experience (David James, Sol Campbell) and excentric talent (Niko Krancjar, John Utaka). If this form were to continue they will be shoe-ins for a uefa cup spot
